By accessing and using CVLift ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Account Registration

To use CVLift, you must register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Credits & Payments

Credits are the currency used on CVLift:

  • New users receive 10 free credits upon registration
  • Additional credits can be purchased via pay-as-you-go or monthly subscription plans
  • One credit is consumed per resume generation
  • Pay-as-you-go credits never expire
  • Monthly subscription credits reset each billing cycle

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CVLift for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to: creating fraudulent resumes, misrepresenting qualifications, or violating any applicable laws or regulations.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

All content generated through CVLift is owned by you. However, CVLift retains ownership of its platform, technology, and AI models. You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI models.

6. Service Availability

While we strive for 100% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

CVLift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and password
  • Resume Data: Work experience, education, skills, and other professional information you provide
  • Usage Data: Credits purchased, resumes generated, and feature usage patterns
  • Payment Information: Processed securely through third-party payment processors (we never store your full card details)

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

  • Generate personalized resumes and cover letters
  • Process payments and manage your account
  • Improve our AI models and service quality
  • Communicate with you about your account
  • Provide customer support

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating our platform
  • Payment processors for transaction processing
  • Legal authorities when required by law

5. Your Data Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@cvlift.me.

6. Cookies & Tracking

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, except as required by law.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access to any unused credits until the end of the billing period.

2. Refund Policy

Pay-As-You-Go Credits:

  • All sales of pay-as-you-go credit packs are final
  • Credits never expire and can be used at any time

Monthly Subscriptions:

  • You may request a refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment
  • Refunds for subsequent months are not available except in cases of service failure
  • If you cancel, you will not be charged for the next billing cycle

3. Service Issues

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service, contact us at support@cvlift.me. We will work to resolve the issue promptly and may provide account credits or partial refunds at our discretion.

4. Account Suspension or Termination

CVLift reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms & Conditions. In such cases, no refunds will be issued for unused credits or active subscriptions.

5. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, contact support@cvlift.me with your account details and reason for the request. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

6. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this cancellation and refund policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
